Postgrad Halifax Citadel Ghost tour

The IGA Postgrad Reps are inviting grad/postgrad students to sign up for a FREE ghost tour of the Halifax Citadel. The Citadel is a hilltop military fort in the heart of Halifax that offers a view of the harbour during the daytime and, at night, is said to be the home of a few of Halifax’s notable ghosts. Come walk the grounds and learn more about Halifax’s haunted history!

For those who wish to attend the conference-wide pub night at The Lower Deck, you don’t have to choose! The pub night begins at 6:00 pm and continues until midnight, so participants will have plenty of time for both.

Date: Thursday, 1 August
Time: 8:30 pm (arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in with an IGA rep). The tour lasts ~70 minutes.
Place: Halifax Citadel Historic Site (those already gathered at The Lower Deck will leave for the site at 8:00 pm)

Be advised: The tour takes place on multiple floors and there are no elevators; the walk to the Citadel from The Lower Deck is mostly uphill.
